ThE MEDICINALS

The Medicinals are a 9 piece band that was forged out of a mutual love and respect for reggae music. The current line-up, established in 2023, is led by Dylan Savage, known for his work as co-vocalist and guitarist of Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. Their live set includes songs from his original catalog such as "Live And Travel” which was featured on the CBS show "Hawaii 5-0" and “Nice Feeling" which can be heard on the Netflix show "Bloodlines". 

Inspired by classic roots reggae and modern American reggae sounds, the band's latest single, "Brand New Day" (featuring Joshua Swain of The Movement), is being received very well across all platforms and continues an upward trajectory this summer. The song joins previously released singles "Reach You" and "Love The Sound" on Jackson Yard Records. Together, these releases capture the timeless essence of the genre while offering a fresh, distinct perspective that resonates with both dedicated fans and new listeners.

The Medicinals have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such national touring acts as: Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Julian Marley, Sublime (with Rome), The Wailers, Bumping Uglies, Kabaka Pyramid, Black Uhuru, Lettuce, John Brown's Body, Donna the Buffalo and Sophistafunk to name a few.
