This is a free event, and to keep inside our capacity, it is invitation only-ish. For more information on the "invitation only" policy, please see below. Is this event invitation only? Good question! Yes ...ish. It's more of a you +1. If you have been invited, we would love to have you there. Of course your significant other is welcome to come. You would also be welcome to bring a buddy so you can deploy the proper emergency festival buddy system so no one looses their mind. Speaking of... Is this event family friendly? Another excellent question! 1st, kids are always welcome (if you got a problem with kids, that's on you...) 2nd, there will almost certainly be open consumption of cannabis. 3rd, there is a very high possibility that people will be up all night making noise around the fire. 4th, as long as you're cool with #1, #2, #3, and I don't have to watch your kids, kids are always welcome at our place and you can bring them. Note: #4 also applies to buddies, I will not watch anyone's buddy, they must be able to take care of themselves without needing help from any adult other than their designated buddy.
Camping: Camping is in the woods, and other cleared areas. We have motorized vehicles with a wagon to help transport gear/foot/etc from your car to your campsite. We also have a property across the street for RV's campers, space ships...
Food & Drink: This event is BYOS. Bring Your Own Shit, whatever that may be. We have a large outdoor grill area where we can cook over a wood fire and I have a regular gas grill with a few tanks of propane. People are welcome to use it all. There is generally community cooking and sharing of lots of things, but we don't coordinate it. It's more...wait for it....ORGANIC! It's improvised communal kitchen and we just all take care of each other...novel fucking idea, right...
This place is PARADISE!! : As stated, this place is my personal and my family paradise so let's keep it that way. I'm so excited to share this space with everyone that I'm practically giddy...AND...and I want it to be left as pristine as it is right now. I will have some trash cans for garbage, cans, and cigarette butts. This should be a leave no trace event. Everything you bring should leave with you and I would LOVE IT if people properly dispose of cigarette butts in an active fire, or in one of the designated receptacles. You have no idea how much I appreciate your help with this!!
